The Kemistry

The Kemistry are Huw Wilcox (vocals, lead guitar), Andrew Weatherall (bass, vocals), Rob Wilcox (Drums) & Danny Phipps (guitar). All four members live in Royston, England and all went to the same school. They all started playing at about the same time but all in separate bands.
Huw and Rob began playing in a band called Natural State in autumn 2000 and were together for about 2 years. Mean while Drew had started up a band with other friends who were together for about 1 year after starting in spring 2001.
The current band first got together in October 2002, when Natural State broke up. After the break up Rob and Huw wanted to play again so they started up a band with Drew (who was already a mate but not in a band). They started practicing together and did their first gig In Royston town hall with two other local bands (Socket and Damaged Goods), in December 2002.
A few months later Danny joined the band as the rythum guitarist. The band started to work on there own material and giging in local areas.
The band are currently perfecting their latest songs to go onto thier album and playing in the Cambridge and Hertfordshire area
